What is a user?
A user is anyone who is added to the system. We make no distinction between user types, that is up to you. The application has three main user types: Administrator, Updater, Viewer. Each of these user types can be configured. So, for example, you could create a Marketing Team group and assign them as Updaters. In addition, you could set permissions so this group could only see the Marketing scorecard.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The software is hosted on secure servers and the price includes server maintenance, data backups, and software upgrades. And of course, you are free to cancel at any time. There are huge advantages to using Cloud software. You can start in with no risk and no IT involvement. With our hosted pricing there is no hardware to buy, software to be approved, or long term contract to sign. We can have you up and running today. The service is highly secure, highly resilient and highly scalable.
Are view-only users free?
We make no distinction between user types for licensing.You have full control over user roles (see ‘What is a user’). Viewers may not be able to interact with the application, but they do use it. However, many users are only interested in viewing Dashboards. For that reason, we provide a Shared Dashboard function that allows you to embed dashboards into your existing intranet, website or SharePoint systems. This functionality is free, so effectively view-only user are free.
Do I pay monthly?
No. The software is priced per user/month which is an industry standard allowing you to make price comparisons. We charge either Quarterly or Annually. Most of our customer opt for a Quarterly payment plan. We send out an electronic invoice with a convenient ‘Pay-Now’ button. You can pay by direct electronic transfer or company/personal credit card.
Where does the software run?
The application is ‘Cloud’ based’. That means it has been written to run in a web-based environment. We normally sell a subscription to the services that run in our ‘Cloud’, that is on our servers. However, if you need to run the application in your data centre we can provide a copy of the software for you to install. We can help with this process as well.
Can I pay in USD?
If your company is based in the USA then yes you can pay in United States Dollars. We have an arrangement with our parent company that allows you to pay directly to them and therefore not incur any additional costs due to currency exchange charges. Click on the ‘Pricing in USD’ option at the top of the page to see USD prices.
Do you provide training?
Yes. The software is really intuitive, but like any new application, you will need some instructions. We have a starter video and a full set of user guides. We can provide a demonstration prior to purchase and two free online training sessions after purchase. If you require deep-dive training we can provide a full day training session at your site.
How does the free trial work?
Click on the free trial button and you will be taken to a page to enter a few contact details. Within 24 hours you will receive a link to a dedicated 30-day free trial. We will contact you by e-mail during the 30 days to check you have everything you need. We will not call you unless you ask us to. If you decide to purchase a subscription then all of the data you have added to the trial can be transferred to your new production system free of charge.
Do you offer a software purchase option?
Yes. The traditional route where you purchase the software and manage it yourself is an option. You will need to provide your own hardware. This option is priced like most performance management software: a one-time license fee up front and a 20% yearly maintenance fee for upgrades. I only want 7 users, can you do that?
We can provide a package of any size you require, 7, 17 or 77 you select the number of users and we will work out the best price for you. The price per user reduces as the number of users goes up. We can also provide special discounts for charities, education, and government agencies.
